Bullish Setup For Shib Price With Two Important Scenarios On The Horizon

Shib (Shiba Inu) seems to have an ambiguous on-chain structure that may affect its upcoming price action. The outflow from exchanges is increasing noticeably over the last seven days, indicating a trend toward the movement of tokens from exchange wallets.

Nonetheless, exchange flow data cannot be viewed as purely positive, since there is also an increase in inflows in some other metrics, providing traders with conflicting signals. Therefore, Shib has two different scenarios depending on who will get control over the asset.

Outflows Of Shib On Exchanges Indicate Lower Selling Pressure

The seven-day average exchange outflow has risen by 191.89%. This indicates a much larger amount of Shib tokens moving off exchanges. Shib tokens are transferred to personal wallets if investors want to keep them for long-term use rather than sell them right now.

Reserves on exchanges have grown by only 0.5%. There has been no large inflow of Shib onto exchanges. At the same time, the number of active addresses has increased by 0.89%, along with the number of active receiving addresses.

The growth rate is modest and indicates stable network participation. The data does not show any significant worsening in terms of activity, which can indicate further interest in Shib.

Inflows Grow, Sending Another Signal

While outflows growth is observed, there are some changes in the exchange inflows as well. The average volume of inflows grew by 1.9%, while total exchange inflows grew by 1.71%.

More importantly, the seven-day average mean exchange inflows grew by 354.32%. This growth is substantially bigger than that of the average outflow.

Increase in the exchange inflows leads to an increase in the volume of Shib coins which might be sold. Failure to absorb extra coins may result in price pressure and send Shib to its support level again. Thus, the data about inflows gives a good counter-signal to the one about outflows.

Two Shib Price Scenarios Emerge

The first scenario favors buyers if exchange outflows continue increasing while selling pressure remains contained. In this case, Shib could maintain consolidation and eventually challenge nearby resistance levels.

A decisive breakout would carry greater significance if accompanied by stronger trading volume. Increased volume could indicate broader participation and provide additional confirmation that buyers are gaining momentum.

The second scenario is more cautious. If exchange inflows continue rising and demand weakens, sellers could gain greater control. That could push Shib toward another support test, particularly if exchange reserves also begin increasing more substantially.

For now, the on-chain data does not provide definitive directional confirmation. The 191.89% increase in exchange outflows remains a notable bullish signal, but the 354.32% rise in mean exchange inflows introduces significant uncertainty.

Traders may therefore continue monitoring exchange flows, trading volume, support levels, and resistance levels to determine which scenario develops next.
